GEAR PUMP TYPE FOR FIXED INSTALLATIONS (WITH AUTOMATIC FLUSHING)
FM 4000-1-GP-F, FM 4000-2-GP-F, FM 4000-3-GP-F

Dosing system for firefighting for fixed installations connected to a concentrate tank with gravity feed to dosing
pump. Consists mainly of two volumetric parts; a Water motor and a Gear pump. Equipped as standard with a
Manual air relief valve. Flushing of dosing pump is done automatically when the concentrate inlet is closed
with 3-way ball valve, (no 4 on Flow chart).
Optional: 1) Automatic air relief valve, suitable for fixed installations with suction from below the unit,
2) Separate selector valve and suction tube for suction from alternative concentrate supply,
3) Dosing return valve to tank.

easy and quick checking of admixture rate, without
generating water/foam solution.
High temperature application Unit is adapted with materials for usage from
50C (122F) up to 80C (176F).
Water motor connection alternatives/Couplings Flanges of different kinds (ANSI, DIN), Storz
couplings, etc.
Y-strainer If the firefighting water contains foreign particles a
strainer in the main water line before the FIREMIKS
is a necessity.
Base plate A suitable base plate for mounting the water motor
in the installations.
