are bigger than any one man.

are saved by the workers they are
supposed to represent, not by labor

Immigrants are being unfairly
scapegoated as the cause of job loss.
We know better. We know that it is
because of the greed of the corporate
state that disastrous trade
agreements, like NAFTA, have
resulted in American jobs being
outsourced overseas. We also know
that American business is exploiting
undocumented workers here at home
by paying them slave wages to
undermine the wage system.
For any trade agreement to be
considered fair, workers in trade
partner nations must be paid living
wages in order to create family-
sustaining economies. Both Mexican
and Texan farm workers need a raise
equal to the highest minimum wage in
the U.S. and Canada. We are in this
situation because our politicians do
not legislate economic justice. Their
trade policies destroy economies and
force foreign workers to leave their
homes to feed their families.
