Satire

Poverty has become the biggest problem facing America today. It has gotten bad

enough that kids are starving, and people are dying. Forget the threat of war, the

unemployment, and anything else the government concerns itself with; this is the

biggest problem.

The poverty stricken need to be put down. Clearly, all other ideas that have been

put into action are not working. I call to the politicians of the world: end the poverty by

ending the poverty stricken. Of course, they can be given the option of how they want to

go out. There would be the options of how they want to go out.

Once all the poverty stricken are put down, the prosperous can flourish even

more. Without the homeless taking all their spare change, they will be able to build their

million and billion dollar businesses even more. No longer will the public pay for the

poor to receive care or food.

The president is all on board for this. He has advised me that he will take this

proposal to the house and the senate. He has assured me that it will be the best

proposal to have ever come through this fine government. Once this proposal is

cleared, because everyone is ready for the poverty stricken to be gone.

Poverty is an issue everywhere because those that dont have money and jobs

have nothing to live for anyway; they are just eating our limited food supply. How are the

rich supposed to feed their wealthy little children if they poor are eating it all? The

answer: they cant, and that is unacceptable.

Once the poor are gone, nature will take care of the rest. The poverty stricken

areas of America will decompose and rot to the ground, where the beautiful mansions of
the rich man will be built. Skyscrapers, not possible before there were no poverty

stricken, will dominate the skyline of America.

Thanks to the fact that the government are big supporters of my proposal, they

will have no problem putting it into motion. In fact, there wasnt any objections raised to

the amount of money required: 899 trillion dollars. That also isnt even factoring in the

buildings that will be put up when all of the poverty stricken is cleaned up.

In addition to cleaning up the poverty stricken, this will also boost Americas

image around the world. Beautiful skyscrapers and towering colosseums, leaning

towers and grand canyons, nothing will be able to beat it. America will once again be the

country that all other countries envy.

Clearly, once these actions are taken, we will have made America great again.

No longer will the loose change of the prosperous be wasted on the homeless. The

prosperous will become even more prosperous while the poor will be eradicated. We all

know that poverty is bad for the government, not to mention the environment, and with

those troublemakers gone even the environment will be prosperous again. We will

succeed in making nature great again!
