Procedure Summary This SOP outlines how to download diagnostic data from an ADFM Ac
cQmin Meter. AccQmin meters are located at M702, M704, M705, and
M709.

Laptop equipped with Flowlink software and a 9 pin serial port
Overview MCES utilizes two different ADFM meters: the Pro 20 and the AccQmin.
The Pro-20 uses a 4 beam sensor, and the AccQmin uses a 3 beam sen
sor. Both of these meters use a separate unit called AccQcom to
communicate.

AccQmin Meter
1. Remove the 9 pin serial port connector from the meter.

2. Insert the connector into the serial port located on the back of the laptop.
3. Turn on the laptop and login with the provided credentials.
4. Open Flowlink.

5. From the COM port drop down menu, select Com1 Communications Port. From the Baud rate drop
down menu, select 115200.

6. Click the Pulsed Doppler Instruments button.

7. Select the appropriate meter from the list.

a. Click OK.

8. Click Connect.

9. Click Retrieve Data.

This can take 1520 minutes.

10. When the download is complete, a dialog box will appear. Click Yes.

11. An error message will appear. Click OK. (You may have to click OK more than once for the error to
disappear).

12. Click Connect.

13. Click Erase Recorder.

14. Click Yes.

15. Click Program and Restart. This will disconnect the meter.

16. Disconnect the serial port cable from the laptop and connect it back up to the meter.
