Its my final day here, im sooo tired, I wonder what will my wife cook tomorrow, shes

probably going give the boring rice with some fish again, great, ah, that reminds me, my sons

2nd month birthday is coming up as well, maybe she will cook something better when I get back,

anyways, this business trip has been been exhausting, this design for the oil tanker was a big job,

I think I spend 3 months working 65 hours a week on this,but Im glad its done. Hmm? Is that

an american aircraft? Must be some travelers, but why is someone jumping off with a parachute?

The sky erupted with a blazing lightning of magnesium flare and the explosion left the

sky filled with a cloud of fire, Hiroshima in ashes, buildings completely gone, houses, streets,

everything burned.

Ouuchh, what happened? All I remember is going down to that ditch for the money I

saw on the ground and then I saw that american aircraft drop that thing.

As Yamaguchi woke, he was injured and could barely open his eyes, he tried to get up,

but his arms were severely injured, so he had to compensate by using is head and feet to get

himself up; he also had ruptured eardrums and burns.

Hello!!???, anyone there?? Helloo!!, oh my, the oil tanker is destroyed, my work is

gone, all of the oil tankers are gone?, everythings gone. I have to look for help or for someone.

Ouch, damn these injuries, I cant believe I have to limp my way through this hell hole. Eww,

what's that? Are those, people? Oh no, those poor people are all dead, they look like burned car

tires, oh my, I shouldnt look *vomits* *sobs*.

 Yamaguchi later found a train station after limping his way through the city of dead

bodies for hours and he had found this station distant from the explosion that is still somehow

functional. He had luckily returned home to his home after a 2 day journey through hell and got

treated at the hospital.

oh my what happened to you??!! said his wife

An explosion at work, but im fine now, just a couple injuries for the moment, itll get

better with a little time, but cmom let's celebrate our sons birthday because Ill be busy soon, I

have to go to work tomorrow!

Later his wife sees on Television of US President Truman giving a speech about the

existence and usage of the atomic bomb and as he described it It is a harnessing of the basic

power of the universe. She had found out that the bomb called little boy had killed over 80000

people in Hiroshima, but she noticed a strange connection.

Yamaguchi!!? said his wife

Yes?? said yamaguchi

Howd you get these injuries again and where?

uhhh, I got them at a bomb accident at work, but im fine now!

Wasnt your job in Hiroshima???!!!?

well, yes, I need to tell you, I was in the hiroshima blast, it was absolutely awful, I dont

even want to get to the details

YOU COULDVE BEEN KILLED!!!! Our family wouldve been ruined, I would have

no husband and our poor son would grow up with no father.

This is going to come as a big shocker, but, to put this quite quickly and honestly,

hiroshima was destroyed by a US atomic bomb and killed thousands of people, but I was lucky

enough to survive the blast

Yamaguchi was the unluckiest man in the world, when he returned to his hometown to see his

family, that town was Nagasaki where president Truman had launched his 2nd atomic bomb. The

explosion was even bigger than the last one and the destruction been worse.
 Ouuchh, I think I scraped myself when I was hiding, but I seem to be fine, wow, but wait,

EVERYONE!!!???, oh my sir, oh my co-workers, this must be a nightmare. Am I the only

survivor again? *gasps* My wife and son!!!!!

Yamaguchi runs throughs the mess of what he once knew as Nagasaki in hopes that his wife and

son are alive, he is thinking the worst has happened, and when he finally arrived, he hears cries

of his baby and runs to the pile of what he once knew as his house found his wife and son with

only minor injuries. Yamaguchi and his family thankfully survived the blast and moved

elsewhere where he and his wife enjoyed a more peaceful life and even had more children.

Yamaguchi kept quiet about his survival until he started noticing some after effects.

Weve been losing hair and vomiting lately, and Ive never seen you this sick before

said yamaguchi

I havent told you, but I cant even eat and I feel some intense pain on my stomach

said his wife

Im surprised youve gone through 2 more pregnancies and had been fine for such many

years, Im going have to put you in some therapy and give you some drugs said the doctor

Well to be honest, what youre wife is going through is due some radiation, and

radiation from this extent can only be caused from one thing, shes survived the atomic bomb 10

years ago didnt she?

Yamaguchi waited and waited to see what his wife was experiencing, but after much wait, his

wife had unfortunately died due to her internal organs from being affected by the radiation. He

was completely devastated and didnt know how to cope with the pain, he tried writing poetry

and listening to music, but that only helped temporarily, as he felt that he needed to make a

change. The doctor knew some people from the government and suggested that Yamaguchi

should tell his story to the public.Yamaguchi took his advice and shared his story to the public,

sharing his horror stories, the after effects and how it affects the environment. Yamaguchi

became a member of the anti nuclear movement and had hoped his story would have an effect of

what people have to go through when these horrors are done. When he was asked on what he

wishes the anti nuclear movement wishes to do with the usage of those weapons, he said

My answer is quite simple, I hope the government would abolish it because no citizen

should have to go through what I went through, that living hell of seeing destruction and corpses

on the street, nobody should have to see what I saw, I simply wish they would abolish it.
