1.Introduction

1.1Purpose
MEDIPAY help you avoid long waiting time at the hospital
by tracking your doctors current OP status from anywhere
using your mobile app. Instantly search your preferred
hospitals, clinics or doctors, and book appointment without
leaving the comfort of your home or office space. Enjoy
credit or debit card free appointment booking facilities
through MEDIPAY.
MEDIPAY will allow you to make payment of your doctors
consultation fee online and
directly go and see the doctor without waiting in the long
queues at the payment counter.
MEDIPAY will also allow the respective hospitals to register
themselves with MEDIPAY and the app can display the list
of hospital which allow online payment.
The hospital needs to share the information of its doctors,
room no.s, availability of the doctors etc. So that it is easier

for the patient to find a doctor instantly and can directly

move to the doctor skipping the long queues at the
reception and payment counters.
MEDIPAY will allow the patient to see the doctors list of
respective hospitals ,their availability ,room no. And make
the payment online, generating a e-receipt which will
contain all the details of the patient and the doctor, validity
of the receipt, amount paid and other important details.

1.2 Intended Audience and Reading Suggestions

The intended audience are the patients who wants to visit
a doctor in a hospital and the hospitals who will register
themselves with the app to provide the online payment
facility.
1.3 Product Scope
The scope of the project is to help the patients to skip the
long queues in the hospitals and also to help the hospital to
easily manage the billings.
MEDIPAY will allow the patient to see the doctors list of
respective hospitals ,their availability ,room no. And make
the payment online, generating a e-receipt which will
contain all the details of the patient and the doctor, validity
of the receipt, amount paid and other important details.

2. Overall Description

2.1 Product Perspective

The mobile application will help the patients who have to
stand in long queues to pay the consultation fees and visit
the doctor .Medipay is a android application which aims to
relieve patients of this wait and allow them to track any
nearby hospitals ,and get complete details of the doctors
available their and instantly book an appointment with the
doctor buy making online payment.
