First grade learning games would be a helpful application to use in and out of
the classroom. This application allows students practice their knowledge of
math and language via interactive games. The amount of times a game has
been opened and percentage correct in each subject area are stored so both
teachers and parents can monitor students understanding of each subject
addressed in each game. This application can be used in the classroom after
lessons to reinforce what has been taught. Students can choose to use this
application when they have finished work early or as a reward in the
classroom. Parents can down load this application on their phone which
allows students more time to improve their knowledge of math and language
outside of the classroom.

I would recommend this application for the classroom to encourage reading.

Super why is has a positive feedback for students that allows students to
strengthen their knowledge and understanding when reading a story.
Learning reward stickers are acquired as students complete stories, allowing
them to create their own sticker book. This application can be used as a
reading station during class activities that allow students 10 minutes at each
station with a different subject. Parents can be encouraged to use this
application at home to continue students practice of reading outside the
classroom.
