Purdue University counts 22 astronauts among its graduates, including the namesake of its new engineering facility, Neil Armstrong Hall
of Engineering. Chris Boardman of RATIO Architects, Inc., of Indianapolis designed the new facilitys roof color to match the deep, rich
red of terra cotta tiles found throughout the historic campus. Reynobond ACM not only matched the color precisely, it also provided the
distinctive, streamlined visual aesthetic the university wanted. From inspiration to implementation, no ones dedicated to your success

MacroAir Technologies
San Bernardino, Calif.-based MacroAir Technologies
offers high-volume low-speed fans, known as HVLS
fans, which range in size from 16 to 24 feet in diam-
eter. MacroAir also offers solar-powered HLVS fans
in 16-, 18- and 24-foot diameters. According to Jaylin
Krell, marketing administrator, the energy-efficient fans
can be used year round, in conjunction with HVAC
systems or as a stand-alone product, to mix the air
and create a consistent temperature within a building.
Additionally, Krell noted that the family owned and op-
erated company focuses on Function Over Flash, with
every part of the fan serving a very specific purpose.
Offering six blades instead of the out-dated original 10,
the HVLS fans use fewer materials that require less
energy, thereby reducing the carbon footprint.

A variety of exterior panel systems were con-
