To get the measurement tape to be 100 % accurate, you have to print out the pattern in full scale (and not use the print option "fit to
page").

Rib: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*.
Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS and the entire pattern is worked in stocking
st.
1 square = 1 st x 1 row

Body: The jacket is worked in the round after the rib on circular needle and cut mid front and for armholes
afterwards. Cast on 166 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with grey and work 6 cm rib back and forth on
needle. Change to needle size 5.5 mm and continue in the round. K 1 round at the same time inc 26 sts
evenly on round and now continue in pattern, at the same time inc 6 sts mid front (to be cut afterwards and
not included in pattern). Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 33 cm inc 5 sts each side (to
be cut for armhole and not included in pattern). After 4 vertical star pattern repeats cast off 26 sts for neck
mid front and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row
from mid front: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 sts 1 time. After 4 vertical star pattern repeats work 1 row
grey stocking st on all sts and cast off. Piece measures approx 63 cm.
Sleeve: Cast on 36 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with grey and work 6 cm rib. Change to needle
size 5.5 mm and continue in pattern, at the same time inc 14 sts evenly on first round = 50 sts. Now inc 2 sts
mid under arm on every 3rd round a total of 23 times = 96 sts. Incorporate inc sts in pattern as you go along.
When piece measures 47 cm work 6 rounds in reverse stocking in grey (for sewing sleeve to body piece), cast
off.
Assembly: Insert a marking thread in the middle of the inc sts each side for armhole, cm and a marking
thread in the middle of the 6 inc sts mid front. Sew 2 seams on a sewing machine around the marking threads
for armhole and mid front, 1st seam = st from the MT, 2nd seam = st from the 1st seam. Cut for
armhole and mid front. Sew shoulder seams = 19 cm.
Pick up 130 sts along left front piece on needle size 3 mm with grey pick up in the first pattern st and
work 4 cm stocking st, P 1 row (= folding edge), 4 cm stocking st, cast off and fold edge double towards WS
over the cut edge and fasten. Repeat along right front piece, but after 2 cm make 6 buttonholes evenly
distributed. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 sts on return row remember buttonholes on piece in
stocking st to be folded towards WS!
Pick up approx 80 sts round the neck on needle size 3 mm with grey and work 4 cm rib, cast off. Set in
sleeves as follows: sew the last row in stocking st on sleeves to row after machine seam on armhole. Turn
jumper inside out and fasten piece in reverse stocking st on sleeve to body piece.
Sew on buttons.
