What are your areas of strength?


Creating a positive classroom community using techniques from Capturing Kids
Hearts and Learn to Lead with Love by Robert Siegel Jr.
Analyzing assessments and data to inform my instructional practices.
Integrating technology into the classroom in an effective and purposeful manner.

What are your areas in need of growth?


I would like to continue adding to my differentiation bag of tricks.
Gauging how much time lessons or activities will take more accurately when
lesson planning.
Finding a practical and efficient organization method for student work,
documentation, and paperwork that works for both students and me.

What are your immediate plans for professional development (within the next 1-2 years)?
Starting to work toward my Masters in the Art of Teaching.
Taking ESL classes to help me learn ways to reach all learnings, specifically
ELLs
Finding a mentor teacher to learn and collaborate with.
Research organization methods in the classroom.

Finish my Masters in the Art of Teaching
