BIMASIA Sdn Bhd is Malaysia leading Building Information Modelling (BIM) Consultancy firm established in 2013. We
provide Building Information Modelling (BIM) adoption, management, modelling,strategy and training tailor made to
individual existing office workflow for Architects, Engineers, Developers and Construction companies.

We are a team of BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, BIM Specialist and BIM Technicians with practicing Architectural
and Engineering background and a strong reputation for a BIM adoption, training programmes and comprehensive
BIM modelling which is demonstrated by our clients.

We believe in collaborative approach, where the sharing
of knowledge and expertise, and the exchange

At the heart of BIMASIAs business excellence model is our greatest asset: its people. A dedicated staff resources of 3
as at January 2015 with almost 10 contract staff provides the company with its pillar of strength in pushing the
boundaries of client-focused service excellence. We are committed in creating a culture of learning and encourage
continuous development for its team member. The resume of the key team member are as below:

Mohd Rizal Mohd Rosly

Managing Director / Co-Founder

As Managing Director and Co-Founder of BIMASIA Sdn Bhd, Rizal is responsible in


strategic decisions and all aspects of the company operation. He has experience in
implementing BIM for 6 years and 4 years of practicing as an Architect.
Prior setting up BIMASIA Sdn Bhd, Rizal was the BIM Manager at 3DReid International
responsible in developing the BIM Roadmap, standard and protocols. He is also responsible
setting up and managing BIM Execution Plan, BIM Templates, BIM Family, BIM Tracking
Sheet and the BIM Production team for 3DReid International. Current projects are Elite
Pavilion, PDC KKTM, Opus Bina Puri,PJ Sentral Masterplan in Petaling Jaya, MBSB HQ
Office Tower part of PJ Sentral in Petaling Jaya, the Veo Condominium in Desa Melawati,
Integrated Mixed Use Development in Putra Heights,Section U1 in Shah Alam.
As one of the Sime Darby scholar with Degree and Diploma in Architecture from University of
Technology Malaysia, he started his career at Sime Darby Property Berhad (Product
Development) as Architect Product Development back in October 2008. He then was
transferred to (R&D department) to be the BIM Architect in 2010. He was in the pioneer Sime
Darby Propertys BIM Unit team responsible for Pilot Project in Nilai Utama, creation of house
prototype based on modular and IBS system and managed project in BIM process flow for the
Veo Condominium in Desa Melawati, Denai Alam Bungalows and Bandar Bukit Raja linked
houses. Rizal is one of Malaysia BIM initiative driver and also the founder of Malaysian Revit
User Group.

Rozida Othman
BA Accounting and Finance, ACCA
Director / Co-Founder

As Director and Co-Founder of BIMASIA Sdn Bhd, Rozida is responsible in Finance,


Business Development and Office management.
She was an Investment Analyst at Royal Bank of Canada Dexia in London from 2007 to
2010 and a Fund Accountant at Fidelity in London from 2002 to 2006. She was Bank
Bumiputra scholar with a degree in Accounting and Finance and ACCA from Dublin
Business School, Ireland.

Mohd Fazli Ahmad Shafandi
Diploma Mechanical Engineering
M&E BIM Technician

Fazli is an experienced BIM Modeller and Coordinator specialised in Mechanical


Engineering. He has solid 3 years experience in complex projects and 7 years experience
in Mechanical Engineering field as Transport Analyst in automotive, petroleum and railway
industry.
Prior joining BIMASIA Sdn Bhd, he was working as Rolling Stock Engineer in the Rolling
Stock and Depot department for Serco Metro in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Fazli has expertise in various BIM softwares and programming languages such as SAP,
Aspen system, C++, MAT lab and CATIA CAD/CAM.

Description
The new extension of the existing Pavilion Shopping mall with exclusive high-rise service
apartment with a goal of achieving superior quality for the project. BIM is used to capture
information to be used as a manual for the tenants and buyer. Laser Scanning technology
will be used for this project for LOD 500.

Description
Set within the viscinity of the new icon for Malaysia; the 100 storey Menara Warisan. The
project aimed to use BIM for value engineering and clash detection purposes.
Furthermore, it is used to checked the current tender drawings done by the consultant to
be more coordinated before the project is tendered. It is the first attempt by the developer
to adopt BIM.

Description
Masterplan of 42 acres urban regeneration site in Petaling Jaya to create a new CBD
of12 million sq ft of development area consists of Offices, Serviced apartments, Hotel,
and Retail units. This masterplan, achieves a very high density while generating
significant new public park and retaining one of Petaling Jaya's oldest buildings as a
historic landmark.

Description
New headquarters office tower for MBSB part of PJ Sentral Masterplan. The 320,000 sqft
tower consists of banking facilities, crche, auditorium and open plan office spaces. This
building utilise LED lighting for facade to enhance its prominence along Federal Highway.

Description
Integrated Shopping Mall Led Mixed use development consists of 1.5 millions sqft NLA
and 1.1 millions sqft NLA of Offices, Hotel and Serviced Apartments in Section U1 Shah
Alam. This prominent development will be a new icon for Shah Alam with one of the
largest shopping mall within the area.

Description
The commission of this project aims to build a mixed use development on a 3 acre site (130, 790 sqft),
residing on Lot 1077 of Jalan Sultan Ismail, comprising of Basement Car Park, Retail (inclusive of Sky
Dining/Sky Retail), Podium Parking, two towers of Serviced Apartments, Grade A Office and two 5-star
rated Hotel. Typologically the development is to be pitched as a pristine skyscraper, taking chance of its
location within the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur.

Description
A twin 40-storey towers scheme in one of the most prominent site in Kuala Lumpur. This
is Sime Darby Propertys first high end high rise development. The design seeks to
provide social community spaces at various levels of condominium development. The
development includes sky gardens, smart offices, tele-health center, multi-purpose hall
and a club house.

Description
The 2-phased development of Serviced Apartments and Retail with GFA of 1.2mill sqft
excluding basement car parking sits on a flat 6.83 acre site. The proposed development
consists of series of linear blocks that sit on perimeter of the site to create a central
garden courtyard and designed to be integrated with the surrounding township with
connectivity to the proposed adjacent new Transport Interchange station connecting to
the Ampang and Kelana Jaya LRT.

Description
Energy efficient building that maximize daylighting and reduce the electricity consumption are the brief
for this project. With BIM, the model could potray the actual sun fenestration towards the lecture rooms
to gain maximum daylighting. The Architect as well required the GFA & NFA to be updated
automatically from time to time so that the client could better understand the scenarios and making
decision wisely.

The requirement is to submit Design Concept Proposal for bungalow site at Presint 10 with the
total GFA of 5,000 sqft. An estimated of RM 1 million building cost with an average of RM200
per sqft to be considered in developing the design concept proposal.The ambition is to create
a 2 / 2 storey resort feel bungalow that consider the energy efficiency whilst maximizing
the passive design strategies. The concept design needs to be everlasting and not so
modern. The client prefer bali resort type of design to be embedded to the overall planning
concept
