The City of Watertown, in cooperation with Cornell Cooperative Extension and the
Watertown Urban Mission, will offer three Bed Bug Education and Prevention Classes next
week. There will be one class geared specifically towards landlords, one class geared towards
social workers, and one class geared towards tenants and the general public.
All classes will be free of charge. The first two will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension
at 203 Hamilton St N, and the third will be at the Watertown Urban Mission at 247 Factory St.
The complete schedule of classes is as follows:
Attendees at the Tenants/General Public class will have the opportunity to receive free
mattress covers and monitoring traps upon completing the course. Since supplies are limited,
advance registration is suggested to ensure receipt of free materials. To register in person,

The City of Watertown is using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to pay
for this program.
