(b) Vinegar is widely used to add flavor to salads and other foods.

There are many brands


of vinegar available on the market. They all contain ethanoic acid (acetic acid) as the
active ingredient. Figure 3 shows the labels of three brands of vinegar that can be found
in a supermarket shelf. They all claim the content contain 5% ethanoic acid, which
essentially is 50 gdm-3 of ethanoic acid.

Plan and design an experiment to determine whether the three brands of vinegar do in
fact contain the same concentration of ethanoic acid.
