b) A lamp giving an intensity of 1000 lumens per steradian is hung 6 meter over the center of the floor of a hall. Find
the illumination first below the lamp and corner of the hall, neglecting reflection from the wall and the floor.

Two lamps A & B of 250 and 450 C.P respectively are situated 110 meters apart. The height of A above the ground 10
meters and that of B is 20 meters. Calculate illumination at midway between the lamps on ground.
Q.4: - Explain with construction and circuit diagram high pressure mercury vapor lamp.

A lamp of 300cp is hung at the center of room 8m x 6m at a height of 3m from the floor calculate the
maximum & minimum illumination produced. Also mention the places where it occurs.
