    24.9.97 Caps for solenoid valves, new Step 1 BT27.19-P-0003-01A

    Disassemble/assemble
    1 Take off caps of solenoid valves Only on transmission 722.6 as of 1.8.97
    Caps for solenoid valve, new Transmission 722.6 BT27.19-P-0003-01A
    2 Unscrew bolts (17a, 17b) and remove leaf Installation: Note the different lengths of
    springs (17) the bolts (17a, 17b).

    3 Use pliers to pull modulating pressure control Installation: Check the O-rings on the
    solenoid valve (Y3/6y1) and shift pressure modulating pressure control solenoid valve
    control solenoid valve (Y3/6y2) out of shift (Y3/6y1) and on the shift pressure control
    plate (16) solenoid valve (Y3/6y2); fit a new valve if
    necessary.

    4 Use pliers to pull 1-2 and 4-5 shift solenoid Installation: Check the O-rings on the
    valve (Y3/6y3), 3-4 shift solenoid valve 1-2 and 4-5 shift solenoid valve (Y3/6y3), 3-4
    (Y3/6y4) and 2-3 shift solenoid valve shift solenoid valve (Y3/6y4) and 2-3 shift
    (Y3/6y5) out of shift plate (16) solenoid valve (Y3/6y5); fit a new valve if
    necessary.

    5.1 Remove electric control unit (Y3/6) from shift Transmission 722.6 up to end no. 0026194
    plate (16)
    Installation: Make sure that the two
    centering pins of the electric control unit
    (Y3/6) engage in the shift plate (16).
    5.2 Bend retaining lug on stiffening rib on oil- Transmission 722.6 as of end no. 0026195
    temperature sensor to one side and remove
    electric control unit (Y3/6) from shift plate

    control unit
    6 Disassemble shift plate (16) Only when the shift plate (16) is dirty or AR27.35-P-0350A
    metal shavings are present in the
    transmission oil.
    7 Assemble in the reverse order
