Entrepreneurship Club:
The student groups belonging to this club must present a unique and practical Business plan
for a Business Idea.
Family Business Club:
The mission of the Family Business Club is to provide a forum for students to explore family
business issues, develop ties to major family-controlled enterprises, and participate in the
ongoing academic research in the area of family business.
General Management Club:
The Management Club is a community of students and alumni who are passionate about
business leadership.

and off-campus), a list of current events along with sign-up information, and links to
relevant news articles and cutting-edge research.

Reporting & Technical Club:


The students belonging to this club would be responsible for documenting all the student
related events and share the event information on the department website (as created by the
technical team) and mail a monthly newsletter to all the students, staff, alumni and
prospective employers.

Social Impact Club:

The Social Impact Club is a community of students and alumni who aim to build and support
a strong community of socially conscious students; educate the broader student community
on social impact issues; and engage with the Social Impact Initiative to provide meaningful
and helpful events and social impact-related activities throughout the year.
Public Speaking Club:
The Public Speaking Club is dedicated to improving your communication, leadership, and
public speaking abilities. We provide a stress-free, supportive environment to practice and
excel at public speaking. We meet on a weekly basis to practice prepared presentations and
impromptu speaking. After each speech, peers provide the speaker with constructive
feedback. We encourage you to practice your marketing class presentation, sell us on your
business plan, or give us your best "run through your resume.".

Women in Business Club:


Success Stories of women entrepreneurs, women leadership opportunities, Coffee chats with
the women achievers within the college and outside the college, panel discussions.
Embryo Club:
Scientists and industry leaders are always keen to share their knowledge and expertise with
the zealous students. BITS Embryo provides just that bridge where by BITS Alumni and
other industry experts can their great wealth of knowledge and experience through online
talks. Embryo seeks to equip students share the insights of the experts in the industry by
organizing a series of online lectures.
The Investment Club
The Investment Club aspires to educate its members in the various aspects of the finance field
whilst supporting their career preparation and increasing their marketability to employers. We
aim to accomplish this by establishing an interactive and social environment, in which
members are provided the opportunity to develop new skills and enhance their network of
industry contacts.
Diversity & Inclusion club:
Sharing a state or a countries culture, customs & traditions and the job opportunities for
management students & the work related challenges.
Industry Linkage club:

Industrial Linkage Club (ILC) aims to lessen the gap between the industry and the academics
by organizing Guest Lectures, Workshops, Case Studies and facilitating group interaction
with distinguished personalities in the industry and academia. ILC helps students scout for
Summer Internships and aids the Placement committee for Final Placements. The main aim
of the club is to familiarize the students with the concept of "LEARN TO EARN - study to
work".

The Business Insights (Reflexionar Club)


The Business Insights is a sincere endeavour of Department of Management, to engage,
inform and associate with a diverse readership-including alumni, faculty and students- by
presenting them with a variety of articles ranging from management, business, economy to
programs and activities of Department of Management. Beginning from the conception of the
magazine to the presentation of select writings, it has been our aim to reflect the values and
the quality of the institution itself. The magazine is published bi-annually. It presents analysis
on an array of articles encompassing:
o Management Theories/Concepts
o Recent Research in the field of Management
o Recent Business Developments
o Indian Economy and related issues
o Important Global issues

ARC- Alumni Relations Club:
To create lifelong relationship between Alumni and the Department of Management (DOM).
The Club is committed to keep alumni informed about the latest happenings and initiatives
that are taken by the university with the help of periodic newsletter or other initiatives. Also,
the club involves alumni by conducting certain events like guest lectures, workshops,
webinars, mentor-mentee programs etc.
Teaching & Professional Assistantships
Higher degree students at BITS get the opportunity to work as teaching and professional
assistant for various divisions and departments across the institute, which offer invaluable
financial assistance and professional development opportunities to the students. Students
opting for these graduate assistantships are expected to help their respective department heads
and faculty in various academic, research and administrative tasks.
