To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Angelica Mastropierro Mielach. During

Angelicas student teaching experience I had the pleasure of serving as her
Montclair State University Mentor. During that time, I clearly observed
Angelica grow by leaps and bounds. Mrs. Mielach was able to plan lessons
that reflected the standards and objectives, were well paced, organized and
developmentally appropriate. A variety of strategies including the use of
technology were regularly used to engage all learners in her inclusion class
setting.

Mrs. Mielach was hard working and dedicated to the teaching profession. She
was a quick learner and an eager student. Angelica readily accepted all
suggestions and immediately implemented them into her future lessons. Her
devotion and connection to her students was obvious and she successfully
created a classroom environment where all students could feel safe and
thrive.

The ability to collaborate and the possession of a strong work ethic are key
components to being a successful educator. The strong relationship Angelica
developed with her cooperating teacher enabled the pair to effectively co-
teach many of their lessons. Angelica elected to attend all staff meetings as
well as professional development opportunities offered by the district.
Additionally, Angelica demonstrated a strong desire to have the best
experience possible and was highly reflective regarding her own practice
throughout the internship.

This novice teacher possesses all the necessary qualities to make her an
excellent candidate for employment. She is flexible, conscientious,
compassionate and professional in all aspects of her teaching. Therefore, it is
without hesitation that I recommend Mrs. Angelica Mastropierro Mielach for a
teaching position. She will be an asset to any teaching staff.
