Youtube video several times, and will give the students a scenario, and the students will either hold up a smiley face emoji, if they believe
that the person in the scenario is being a good citizen, or the sad face emoji, if they believe that the person in the scenario is being a bad
citizen.
-Group 1: The students will then be given a worksheet containing various scenarios of people demonstrating acts of being a good citizen
as well as demonstrating the acts of not being a good citizen. Together with a partner, the students will have to decide which scenarios
show what it means to be a good citizen, and which scenarios show what it means to not be a good citizen. The students will be given a T
chart, with a smiley face on one side, and a sad face on the other, and must put a checkmark on the either side depending on the different
scenarios on the worksheet.
Group 2: For the students who exceed the standards, they will be given sorting worksheet in which they have to sort the various scenarios
on the worksheet into two columns, good citizenship and bad citizenship together with a partner.
4. ADAPTATIONS AND ACCOMMODATIONS (During CL I and II, indicate which individual children need adaptation or accommodation.)
Adaptations: Students will be put into two different groups based on ability level. The two different groups will be comprised of students
who do not meet the standards and students who are approaching the standards, and students who exceed the standards. The worksheet
containing the citizenship scenario will be modified to meet the learning abilities of the two groups of students.
For the students who do not meet the standards, as well as students who are approaching the standards, the worksheet will contain only
pictures depicting good and bad examples of being a good citizen.
For the students who exceed the standards, the worksheet will contain only written scenarios of being a good or bad citizen, and the
students will sort the different scenarios into two columns, being a good citizen, and not being a good citizen.
