It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Natassia Piccolo. Ms. Piccolo was hired in the
2008 / 2009 school year as a mathematics leave replacement teacher. She exhibited great proficiency in her
pedagogy and classroom management.

In the short time Ms. Piccolo was at Gelinas, she immediately established a rapport with her students and
department. Ms. Piccolo brought to the classroom a warm and welcoming presence, a willingness to learn, and the
sensitivity to reach all students. She demonstrated organizational skills in the daily structure of her classes and her
ability to meet administrative deadlines. Besides her obligations to her students and caseload, she also extended
herself to the staff and building administration and was always readily available to assist in various capacities.

Ms. Piccolo is a caring teacher who wants to see her students succeed. She is also ambitious and assertive, and
holds herself to a very high standard. It was very unfortunate to the building administration that we were unable to
offer her a permanent position with the school.

I have no doubt Ms. Piccolo will be an asset to any school community and will be happy to provide any additional
information regarding Ms. Piccolo and the qualities she offers as a teacher.
