Formysurvey,Iquestionedthepubliconthetopicofcancer.Everyonewhofilledthese

surveysarehighschoolers.Forthefirstquestion,74%ofthepeoplehadafamilymemberdiagnosed

withcancerand26%percentageofpeopleputno.Thisshowshowcommoncanceris.Forthesecond

question,84%ofpeoplewouldvolunteerfortheAmericanCancerSociety,and16%wouldn't,

showinghowmanyindividualsinschooldocareaboutthefightagainstcancer,andthesmallportion

whosaidnocouldnotbeinterested,ortheywanttovolunteerfordifferentorganizations.90%ofthe

surveysbelievethattheyareexposedtothechemicalsandtechnologiesontheirenvironment,and

10%donot,orarenotsure.Thisprovestomethatmanypeoplearewell-educatedabouttherisk

factorsoftoxinsandradiation.Accordingtothe5thquestion,96%ofpeoplebelievethatthecurefor

cancershouldbeoneoftodaystoppriorities,and4%believetherearelargerproblems.Again,this

showsmethatmanypeopleareawareofthestrugglewithcancersinceit'sthesecondleadingcausein

theU.S,behindHeartDisease.Accordingtothesurveydata,98%ofthesurveyorsagreedthat

everyoneshouldbeeducatedoncancer,whichisaverygoodsignsincethatcouldmeanpeoplecare.

Onlyonepersonputno,buttheyprobablyhadtheirownreasonfordoingso.Finallyforthehealthy

choicestopreventcancer,84%ofpeopleknewwhattheywereputtingdownandtherestwereunsure.

Fromthissurvey,Iconcludethatmostofthestudentsinhighschoolareawareandeducatedofthis

harmfuldisease.
