01 REFLECTION

From doing this project, I successfully finish timeline and model in

time. I also learned many things from doing this project. I learn about
important information about Philippines and also get the answer for
my research question. Philippines get their independence because
educated of Philippines want to have and people also support this
thing to happen. I thinks that the most influence event to political
system in Philippines is American colony in Philippines because now
Philippines still follow USA political system. I think that Rodrigo
Duterte is the most powerful president of Philippines because many
Filipinos love him and he really help eliminate criminal from Philippines
even though he done it by improper ways.
 02 REFLECTION

My failures during this project is when the model. At first, I decide to build Aguinaldo
Shrine as a model for Philippines because it is the place that Philippines declared their
independence from Spain in June 12, 1898. After thinking about what material and how to
creates it, I change my mind. I will make pop-up of famous place instead. My friend and I
decided to make 5 pop-ups for model. After finishing the model, we realize that it should
be 3D model and our pop-ups look like 2D model. We need to rethink about the model
again. The time is almost out so we decide to build Banaue Rice Terrace for our model.
Banaue rice terrace is very important to Filipinos because it is suitable with geographic
feature of the country. Farmer is one of the most abundance jobs in Philippines and one
thing that they grow is rice. Banaue rice terrace also be the oldest rice terrace in the
world. As there are many importance of Banaue rice terrace, we decide to make this as
the model for our project. We use foam and artificial grass to build this model. We search
for the template from picture on the internet. We choose the picture that shows the
curve and different height of mountain.
03 REFLECTION

My friend and I did not follow action plan that we plan

at the start of this project. We cannot finish thing in
time as shown on the list. I think that we cannot
estimate the work that we will have so we plan it to be
like that. Action plan is impossible to follow because
we have other subject homework to do and I think that
it will be less information I need to research on. I make
a mistake when I create the action plan.
04 REFLECTION

I learn to solve the problem and plan new work plan that we could use. I also learn to
accept my limitation and fid the solution to solve the problem. After I found that there
is a model of Aguinaldo Shrine on internet, I think that I could use it as a model and
follow it by using other material. But I cannot find suitable material that I can use so I
think that I need to change before it is too late. The limitation I found during this
project is I cannot find material and it will take very long time to finish it. I solve this
problem by changing what the model will be and start to do it as soon as possible. I
think that I would be able to find material for Aguinaldo Shrine model but I cannot. I will
remind myself every time I do some project about the limitation that I have so I dont
need to change a lot of thing like this in other project.
05 REFLECTION

I also learn that have action plan or to do list is very helpful especially
when I am doing lot of project. It helps me keep tracking on my progress
and know what I have done and what I should do in each class. I learn
from mistake when I planning action plan that I should always have plan
B when I am going to do any project. If the mistake happen or something
is not follow what we think, we still be able to finish the work in time and
get good grade. Plan B is necessary in my life.
06 REFLECTION

My strength as a learner is that when I learn something I need

to understand it not just memorizes it. For example, when I am
doing research about Ferdinan Marcos, I found that he use
Martial law to rule the country. I did not know what is Martial
law so I need to do further research about it. Finally, I found
that Martial law is the law that government will use when
country have revolution or civil war. When I have question
about information I found, I will do more research until I find
the answer of my question. This way of learning helps me to
remember and understand information.
07 REFLECTION

My weakness as learner is imprudent. If I found website that

contain information that can answer my question, I will use
information from that website only. I did not do further research on
the same topic to check whether the information is correct or not. I
should do more research and use more reliable website than in this
project. I should share information that I have with my friend so we
can check if the information is the same or not. If not, we need to
look for other information to prove which one is correct. This way of
learning will help me to analyze the information before using it in my
work. The information will be more reliable and acceptable if I check
the source and accuracy of information before put it in my work.
08 REFLECTION

Next time, I will start doing research sooner and I will try to
do it continuously so I still remember detail about that
information and have more time to finish it. I will summarize
information into bullet point so it is easy for other people to
read. I will try making the timeline more attractive by
decorating and making it look more interesting. There is the
geographic map that I can improve. I will make it neat. I will
create the action plan before doing any project so I can use
my time wisely. I will thinking about plan B for a big project
so I can continue the project if some mistake happen.
09 REFLECTION

I learn that I need a lot of improvement to be a good

learner. Even though I can control myself to do work
and to finish the project, I think that I can improve
and learn more things. I should try harder and
asking more questions during researching phase. I
think that I can learn more from internet if I am
more diligent. I learn that I have better learning skill
from information that is in visual or audio media.
10 REFLECTION

From doing this project, I found that I am high standard person. I always
picture the product of this project in my mind. If the project did not come out
as I want I will feel very stress. When I think that my friend will not be able to
do it, I will keep all the work and do it myself. I think that I should let other
people to help me in the project and I should have more faith in my friends. I
know that it is not a good thing to think of friend like this but it still happen.
After this project, I will try to distribute work to everyone in the group
equally. I think I am very serious person. I will get stress when there are
some mistakes happen or something goes wrong from what I expect. I
should have more control on my emotion so I can work effectively in any
situation. I wish that I can handle with stress and mistake that could happen
in project but I will try to make the least mistake as possible as I working.
11 REFLECTION

I accomplished ESLO number 6c which is evaluate how

well we work together and give one another helpful
feedback. I completed this ESLO when my friend asks
for comment about the cover page of our project and
when we talk together what we will do for our model. As
a team, we need the best project. We put all effort in
this work. I also accomplished ESLO number 1 which is
strategic learners. This is new ways of learning so after
this quarter, we can choose the most suitable way of
learning to us to learn in university and higher.
12 REFLECTION

I completed ESLO number 2 which is innovative thinkers

because I need to create the format of timeline that is
easy for other to read and understand. When I create
timeline, I need to know the amount of information and
pictures that will be in the timeline. Then, I create story
board to show order and where to put information. My
friend and I use our creativity to create a readable
timeline for everyone. We also use our own creativity
while making pop-up of famous places. We need to plan
everything before start doing it.
