Upon completely high school, my hope is to be attending James Madison
University for the 5 year Masters of Arts of in Teaching PK-6 program under the
Early, Elementary and Reading Education Department. Additionally, another goal of
mine is to receive my CDA [Childrens Developmental Associates degree] so that I
am permitted to work with children starting from the infantry ages through PK.
DREAMS & GOALS
In addition to earning my teaching degree and CDA, I hope to be happy. I know
that I am meant to be a wife, and more importantly a mother. I have always
dreamed of having my own family and I would have to say that it would be
considered the most essential goal and dream of mine.
It has also always been in my hopes that I will be able to travel not only with my
family and children, but to work with organizations, in and out of the country, that
will help support children in need. Whether it is in third world countries, helping
foster care children, or children with special needs, it is my goal to stretch my efforts
and abilities to make a difference.
FAMILY
If there is any area within my life that I am most thankful for and truly blessed with,
it would certainly be my family. I have been blessed with the absolute best, not
perfect, but best parents that are possible. They have done everything they needed to
give my sister and I everything that we need and most of what we want. Their love,
support, and opportunities they have provided us are unconditional and I couldnt be
any luckier.
TEACHING
Teachers hold a crucial position in the lives of their students. They have the
opportunity to be someone great, as their students strive to make something great of
themselves. I think that teachers are given a chance to be the one who offers up
greatness and change in the upcoming generations. This isnt just a job, it is a
complete and whole commitment to the ones that we are leaving the world to; I
believe that is something pretty spectacular.
