Innovative, hands-on strategies for engaging millennials in
your campaign
R. Trent Thompson is President of Thompson & Company (aka Rebrand & Retool or Perish), a nonprofit
brand and strategic communications firm. He's passionate about helping nonprofits build brand relevance,
but only stronger. Helping develop brand positioning that's not only better, but laser focused. Helping retool
their multichannel marketing and communications system and support infrastructure to support and enable
their engagement and fundraising initiatives for the long haul. When Trent's not rebranding clients, building
multichannel fundraising or awareness campaigns, and speaking at conferences, he's sharing snackable
brand and marketing insights on his podcast called #BADASSforGOOD.

Tammy Zonker is an envelope-pushing fundraising practitioner, an inspiring international speaker, and

powerful trainer in the discipline of transformational fundraising. In the past decade she has coached, trained
and led nonprofit teams to raise more than $400M including a single gift of $27.1M. She moved to Detroit in
2008 motivated to fund raise in the most challenging economy in the U.S. and has turned those experiences
into fundraising strategies, tools and processes for creating breakthrough fundraising results in any economy.
When she's not speaking at conferences or fundraising, you'll find Tammy in Detroit leading online webinars
and e-courses, hosting an online episode of ZTV or facilitating private workshops and retreats across North
America and beyond.

"A movement is not a flash of light - it is a flame, a torch passed from one generation to the
next and every so often we are blessed with moments where the smolder transforms to blaze
again and we're forced to race down the path of progress."

It was with these inspiring words by poet Mayda del Valle - set to motion, photography, and
song through the video "Our Moment" - that PolicyLink opened Equity Summit 2015. Over the
next three days, as 3,000 diverse stakeholders shared insights, forged new collaborations, and
strategized around some of the nation's most intractable challenges, the message of this video
echoed throughout the sessions, discussions, and performances. With powerful movements -
Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, the Dreamers, the Fight for $15 and a Union, and
others - rousing tens of thousands to action, advocacy, and awareness, this is equity's moment.
