educator in many facets. I have included artifacts such as lesson plans, assessments, data
analysis, professional development opportunities, and others that exemplify my abilities to
provide high quality instruction guided by assessment, document student growth, collaborate,
and reflect on my teaching practices. My first priority as an educator through working with
students has been meaningful experiences, which supports growth exponentially. I feel that
growth is a term that adequately describes all of my experiences as a student at Kutztown
University, and the field beyond. At Kutztown, the education department emphasizes being a

standards, or Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium. These are model core
teaching standards that all beginning teachers should have a working understanding of before
beginning a career with children. I have included my resume, and letters of recommendation
from cooperating teachers and other professionals I have worked with. I have also included my
philosophy of education which describes in more detail the educator I want to be both in and out
of the classroom. Different teacher-created activities, lessons, assessments, and scores can also
be found throughout the sections to display my knowledge of pedagogy. These artifacts have
