Each MSU sensor provides a 3-channel image in three

spectral bands. Thus, one and the same area of the
land/ocean surface is registered with a time interval t = 38.7
or 19.35 s. This results in a mutual shift of the image
registered inthreespectralchannelsaslargeas6048or3024
pixels.
