To attain good result, student is expected to gain 50 minutes

It is not required; however international


nternational students are expected to obtain insurance. Students can purchase
insurance policy from any insurance company from home country. Alternatively, students may also purchase
insurance after they arrive at BINUS.

Application and required documents should be submitted and managed through the International Office of
the home university of exchange student. Application can be downloaded at:

List of required documents include:


1) Completed Application Form
2) Letter of Enrolment from Home Institution
3) Copy of Official Transcript
4) Copy of English Language Proficiency Test Resul (test result obtained in the last two years and only for
applicants whose country of origin (country issuing passport) does not speak English as a native language)
5) Health Statement from a Doctor (confirming that you are in a good health)
6) Copy of Passport (in color)
7) 5 (3 x 4 cm) + 1 attached on the form and 2 (2 x 3 cm) Recent Color Photograph with Red Background
(for visa purposes in Indonesia)
8) Completed Housing - BINUS Square Application Form

Q13. Any comments and other useful information (e.g., visa, orientation, local information)

Exchange students are recommended to apply for a visa at home country at the nearest Embassy/Consulate
General of the Republic of Indonesia. To ensure a successful obtainment of visa, student will need to show
Letter of Invitation from BINUS and prepare supporting documents that may vary. There are two types of
visa recommended for exchange students:

Limited Stay Permit Visa (VITAS)


Valid for 12 months. Student must start applying for this visa at least 2-3 months before arrival and must
report to immigration within 5 days of arrival to Indonesia (first entry must be Jakarta). Single entry to begin
with but can apply for multiple entry in Indonesia.

Social Cultural Visit Visa (VKSB)


Valid for 60 days to begin with and can be extended every 30 days for 4 times consecutively (for a total of 180
days). Single entry only.
