King & Wood Mallesons- Summer Clerk November 2016- February 2017 (Brisbane)
Rotated through Knowledge Management, Workplace and Employment Relations, and Intellectual Property
and Technology legal practice groups.
Duties included:
Providing high quality research, analytical and problem solving skills; and
Processing and responding to high volume client tasks and providing legal written advice within limited
time frames.

Macquarie Group Limited- Summer Intern November 2015- February 2016 (Sydney)

Within Risk Management- Corporate Finance, I worked with the Aviation teams based in Sydney and San
Francisco for my major project during the 12-week period. I conducted aviation research on Macquaries
expanding aircraft portfolio and clients, as well as legal and policy research on international aviation laws.
Duties included:
Assisting in establishing the companys first Legal Aviation Database, while conducting international
legal research on aviation finance policy;
Compiling and assessing data to categories international jurisdictions; and
Completing client financial reviews, analysing business performance and making recommendations.

Contract Control International- Data Entry Clerk June 2015- October 2015 (Brisbane)
Duties include:
Processing client invoices through the data system, including use of MYOB;
Processing and assessing data sets with strong attention to detail and analysing market trends; and
Administration duties- answering phones, processing timesheets, providing assistance to the Principal
and Office Manager.

Millers Specialty Fashion Club- Retail Assistant November 2013- April 2015 (Brisbane)
Duties include:
Providing high quality customer service and supervisor responsibilities;
Stocktaking, cash handling, banking and administrative tasks;
Complaint handling and dispute resolution; and
Setting, achieving and reporting on periodic sale targets.
Extra-Curricular & Community Involvement

2015-17 CareerTrackers Indigenous Internship Program Participant


Completed two Leadership Development training weeks in Sydney, NSW; and
Volunteered at Nungeena Aboriginal Corporation for Womens Business in the Glasshouse
Mountains QLD, and at Redfern Community Centre, NSW.

2016 Indigenous Officer- QUT Law Society


Duties included:
Project managing, organising and hosting the annual QUT Law Society Reconciliation
Breakfast for 130 attendees;
Consulting with stakeholders, including the Queensland Law Society, the QUT Law Society,
law firms, the QUT Law Faculty, professionals and students;
Assisting in orientation stalls for the QUT Law Society during Orientation week; and
Liaising with the QUT Law Society and Faculty of Law to promote Indigenous interests.

2016 Work Experience Student- McCullough Robertson Lawyers


Duties included:
Assisting the Native Title and Environment teams with legal research, case analysis and
contract review.

2016 Student Ambassador- QUT Oodgeroo Unit Orientation Program


The one-week program consisted of orientation activities for commencing Indigenous university
students across all degrees.
Duties included:
Working in a team of 6 student ambassadors, leading and providing guidance to over 50
commencing students; and
Conducting leadership and skills group sessions, while assisting students with queries.

2015-16 Student Mentor- Project Imba


The one-week Brisbane based educational camp catered to Indigenous rural high school
students from Cunnamulla. The purpose of the program is to promote tertiary education.
Duties included:
Supervising, participating and engaging in leadership activities with a group of 23 students,
while working in a group of 7 student mentors and program organisers; and
Being attentive to the needs of the group, and adapting activities where necessary.

2015 Volunteer at Welcome Fest- Amnesty International


Duties included:
Engaging with the community and discussing Amnestys campaign on the removal of
asylum seeker children and families from detention centers; and
Assisting in setting up the stall and gaining signatures of the campaign.
