Savage Skate Shop 1

Executive Summary

Opportunity
Problem

My customers need skateboards and skate accessories. We need to be there for the skate
community.

Solution

We will provide skateboards and other skateboard accessories for those who are in need.

Market

Our ideal customer is anyone who is interested in learning how to skateboard or any people
who already skate.

Competition

Of course people can go online to find this kind of stuff but they will not find the great
customer service that is provided here at any other shop or website.

Why Us?

We are a company that is very dedicated to the skateboard scene and the community as well.

Expectations
Forecast

The first yer of business I expect to make at least 300,000 dollars. Within a few years down the
road I expect to double that amount. I expect to make profit by the second year.

Opportunity
Problem & Solution
Problem Worth Solving

There's a growing number of skaters out there who do not have access to the proper skateboard
equipment due to their location and income.

Our Solution

Here at Savage Skate shop there is everything that any skateboarder will ever need. We have
boards, grip, trucks, bearings, wheels, tools, pads, helmets, and other skate accessories for a
reasonable price.

Target Market
My ideal customer is male and between the ages of 6 and 35. These are the most common
skaters, but there is a growing number of female skaters who we are here to appeal to as well.
At the shop we offer everything skate related, we will help you choose the perfect set up that
will be accustomed to your needs.

Competition
Current Alternatives

My shop will have some direct competitors but there will also be online competition as well.
The other skate shop that will be my competition is well known and they offer the same
services as me.

Our Advantages

The advantage of coming to my shop is that you will find better deals and the environment is
more friendly than the competition.

CONFIDENTIAL - DO NOT DISSEMINATE. This business plan contains confidential, trade-secret information and is shared
only with the understanding that you will not share its contents or ideas with third parties without the express written consent
of the plan author.
Savage Skate Shop 4

Execution
Marketing & Sales
Marketing Plan

I will have monthly sales that will blow away the competition and will be hosting skate events
at the local skate parks to raise and donate money to charities. I will have ads on the radio and
if I am able to afford it I will have them on television as well. People will see my message and
they will want to shop at my shop after they see all the good I am doing for charity. Customers
will pay for products directly through the store itself. The customers are the people who will
actually be using my products.

Sales Plan

I will turn prospects into customers by being well known for good sales and kindness. I want
people to feel very safe and welcomed in my store. This is something that will attract attention
because the skateboard community will talk about my shop and word will spread quickly like
wild fire and those are great ways of getting long term customers.

Operations
Locations & Facilities

The store will be located near the newest built skate park in Eugene, OR in a decent sized
building. I will have enough space in the shop to have an indoor half-pipe that people can
skate on because Oregon is well known for always raining. This will give a lot of people a
reason to come.

Technology

The type of business that I will be running will have no need for such things.

Equipment & Tools

The only equipment that I will need in the shop is a drill for when I put skateboards together
for customers.
