ABSTRACT

The present work was carried out in the Forest Management Laboratory of the Faculty of

Forestry Sciences, the samples were prepared according to Peruvian Technical Standard

251.009, the quantity and dimensions of test pieces, according to the ASTM Standard, which

was of 16 samples (Probetas) of Dimensions of 3x3x10cm oriented and coded. The basic

gravity and density were calculated between the mass to volume ratio at different moisture

contents: 0%, 5% .10%, 12%, 15%, 18%, 21%, 24%, 30%, 40 %, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%,

90% and 110%. An average basic gravity of 0.6162 was obtained and the different moisture

contents were obtained on average: 0.7583; 0.7302; 0.7041; 0.6942; 0.6798; 0.6661; 0.6528;

0.6402; 0.6162; 0.6162; 0.6162, 0.6162, 0.6162, 0.6162, 0.6162, 0.6162. .Density of: 0.7562;

0.7962; 0.8341; 0.8493; 0.8720; 0.8948; 0.9175; 0.9403; 0.9858; 1.0616; 1.1170; 1.2133;

1.2891; 1.3649; 1.4408 and 1.5924., On the north, south, east and west sides of the wood

respectively.
1. RESUMEN

El presente trabajo se realiz en el laboratorio de Manejo Forestal de la Facultad de Ciencias

Forestales, se prepar las probetas segn Norma Tcnica Peruana 251.009, la cantidad y las
dimensiones de probetas, segn la Norma ASTM, que fue de 16 muestras (Probetas) de
dimensiones de 3x3x10cm orientadas y codificadas. La gravedad bsica y la densidad se
calcul entre la relacin de masa sobre volumen, a diferentes contenidos de humedad:
0%,5%.10%,12%,15%,18%,21%,24%,30%,40%,50%,60%,70%,80%,90% y110%. Se obtuvo
una Gravedad bsica promedio de 0,6162 y alos diferentes contenidos de humedad se obtuvo
de promedio: 0.7583;0.7302;0.7041;0.6942:0.6798;0.6661;0.6528;0.6402;0.6162;0.6162;
0.6162;0.6162;0.6162;0.6162;0.6162;0.6162. .Densidad de : 0.7562;0.7962;0.8341; 0.8493;
0.8720; 0.8948;0.9175; 0.9403;0.9858;1.0616;1.1170;1.2133;1.2891;1.3649;1.4408 y
1.5924 .del lado norte, sur, este y oeste de la madera respectivamente.
