ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Combining multiple revenue streams and profit centers into single operations is a
primary focus of the expanding and increasingly sophisticated hospitality
industry. Management personnel with degrees are required for todays complex
and challenging hospitality operations.

An overall average of 65% in the six required Grade 12 (U) or (M) courses

Students are responsible for their own transportation in order to complete co-op
requirements. Niagara College cannot guarantee co-op locations that are readily

Tuition
Tuition fees usually vary by semester and depend on what program
youre in. Tuition does not include parking, text books or supplies, but
does include specific materials fees (like costs for food used while
cooking in labs.)

How much is tuition?


Tuition fees are assessed on a yearly basis. To help you understand
where your money is going we produce a Fee Schedule which breaks
tuition down by program. Tuition fees for domestic students attending
post-secondary, graduate certificate and bachelors degree programs
are set in accordance with the Ministry of Advanced Education and
Skills Development fee guidelines. International students have different
tuition fees.

OSAP is Ontarios student support program, offering a mix of grants
and loans to thousands of students each year to help finance their

Tuition and Fees for International Students


Tuition fees for International students are assessed on a different
schedule than Canadian students. Tuition typically includes a medical
insurance fee and an activities service fee. Fees vary depending on
whether or not the student is attending an English program or an
undergraduate or post-graduate program. Other fees could include
homestay (the cost to stay with a Canadian family), an airport pick-up
fee, or a dormitory fee.

Regular College Program Withdraw / Refund Policy

In accordance with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Tuition


Fee Operating Procedures, students must submit formal written notification
within 10 business days of the beginning of a semester to receive a refund of
fees for the current term. If you do not officially withdraw at the International
Centre, you will be responsible for all fees assessed. Non-attendance does
not constitute an Official Withdrawal.

International students are refunded all fees assessed for that term and
subsequent terms paid in advance, less non-refundable fee(s):
International Tuition Fees Canadian Funded Tuition Fees X $500.00
CAD
If applicable, any fee paid for services that are non-refundable after
use (airport pick-up, medical insurance etc.)

Students that wish to withdraw from their program of study may make a
withdrawal appointment at the International Office at their respective
campus.

The withdraw fee is calculated based on the Ministry of Advanced Education


and Skills Development policy.

Quebec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ) is required for students who want to


transfer to the province of Quebec. Failure to provide this CAQ document
before the withdrawal deadline will result in the denial of the withdrawal
request and no refund will be issued. The CAQ must accompany the Quebec
institutions letter of acceptance.

**International students that have been refused a study permit for the current semester and have

notified the International Division within 10 days of the beginning of the semester will be refunded all

fees paid less a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 CAD. Note, students are required to provide

documentation verifying a study permit refusal.
