The Change in America
The two individuals I have chosen for this essay is Henry Ford and Andrew
Carnegie. Henry Ford Changed America by his automobile products and Andrew
Carnegie changed America by his steel industry. Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie
changed America in that day in age and the future from their industry and
production made Andrew Carnegie very wealthy and actually one of the wealthiest
men in the 19th century. Carnegie owned his own steel company in 1889 and it was
the largest steel company in the world at the time. Carnegie gave jobs to
helped Carnegie become the dominant force in the industry and an exceedingly
wealthy man. It also made him known as one of America's "builders," as his
business helped to fuel the economy and shape the nation into what it is today. By
1889, Carnegie Steel Corporation was the largest of its kind in the
steel.
Andrew Carnegie's role in the steel business had both positive and negative

effects on American society. While Carnegie Steel did make possible the
services and people easier than ever, the conditions in his factories also led to some
led to many deaths and injuries and it made it an unsafe working condition.
Andrew Carnegie gave a lot of money to charity and education, he also gave
Carnegie steel industry created many things such as bridges, buildings and
so much more. Carnegie steel made another step towards the future at that time.
Carnegie steel industry helped the economy have an uproar of jobs and businesses.
Carnegie helped shape the next century for America by education, libraries and
made life so much easier for people to get to point A to point B. Henry Ford
created automobiles for the not only the American people but for also the whole
world. Henry Ford created his Automobiles for the average America so that they
could afford an automobile instead of only the rich. Henry helped the economy by

wounded or dead. Henry Ford had a big impact on helping the U.S. in the war.
Henry Ford created the Model T for all Americans to drive. Henry Ford can take
responsibility for creating the American consumer ethic and the American middle
class(Stanford).
Henry Ford working crew was paid $5-10 an hour and many people came
across the country to get a job. Henry Ford had interviews and would only let the
people that he thought were eligible and responsible to work. Henry Ford
influenced other companies in the country to make automobiles that are affordable
