Objectives for mainstream:

1. Read a story with correct pronunciation.

2. Rearrange words to form six correct sentences.
3. Rearrange jumble up sentences to form a story.

Objectives for LINUS:

1. Read and rearrange words to form 3 correct sentences.

Activities:

Set Induction:-
a. Pupils look at the picture.
b. Pupils talk about the pictures.
c. Pupils answer questions (Wh-questions).

Step 1
a. Put up a story on the whiteboard.
b. Pupils listen to the story.
c. Pupils read the text after the teacher.
d. Pupils take turns to read the story with their partner.

Step 2
a. Teacher distributes jumble up words to each group.
b. Pupils in the group arrange the words to form correct sentences.

Step 3
a. Teacher distributes sentence strips to each group.
b. Pupils in the group arrange the strips to form a correct story.

Activities for LINUS

1. Pupils read the sentences given.
 2. Pupils read the words given in the word cards.
3. Pupils rearrange the words based on the sentences the have read previously.
4. Pupils read aloud his/her answer.

Closure
a. Pupils volunteer to read the story in front of the class.
b. Pupils tell moral values in the story.
