Explanation.Forthepurposesofthisrule,
(1) "paymentinconnectionwithtravel"includespaymenttowardsfare,ortoatravelagentora
touroperator,ortoanauthorisedpersonasdefinedinclause(c)ofsection2oftheForeign
ExchangeManagementAct,1999(42of1999)
(2) "travelagentortouroperator"includesapersonwhomakesarrangementsforair,surfaceor
maritimetravelorprovidesservicesrelatingtoaccommodation,tours,entertainment,passport,
visa,foreignexchange,travelrelatedinsuranceorothertravelrelatedserviceseitherseverally
orinpackage
(3) "timedeposit"meansanydepositwhichisrepayableontheexpiryofafixedperiod.]
