Unit 5 Assignment 2

Negotiating the brief

As I am working towards the brief, this will meant that I have to do everything down to the
letter, I will follow everything, and because I have an ILP, then this will mean that I can
evaluate everything that I am doing, while looking at my brief and ILP so that I am on track,
my brief will tell me everything that I will need to know, from the headings to the marking
criteria, so that I can achieve the highest grade possible.

For this particular assignment, which on this

occasion is Unit 62. I have started my assignment,
which on this occasion is assignment 2. I have had
a meeting with my client, and through this, I made
notes. Initially I did some research for my
competitors and products, once I had completed
this that meant that I could do a brainstorm in a
group, which did not take too long as the ideas
were very broad, meaning that I could call it
anything. Next, and after all this, I then did my
speciation for my video while doing a legal and
ethical to ensure I was within the law as well as
trying to make it as entertaining as possible, and
finally, I then stated my logo and created my label.
I tried to make the whole process as quick as
possible as well as and that way I can review my
evidence at the end of everything to ensure that I can complete my work to a high standard.

Consultation with client

The consultation with the client was brief, however, I learnt so much through this. As this
has been done through my client liaison diary, then I am going to link this to that. The link to
the client liaison diary is here:
Above is my Dairy for Unit 62, this has given me the initiative to continue my work to as high
standard, through this dairy, it has enabled, everything exactly in which I have done, on this
occasion, I also have links to music clip. I have added some things to it also to make it better overall.

Amendments/edits to proposed final/finished product

The amendments that I have done for this particular assignment is to edit for my proposed
final and finished product.
For this particular assignment I made amendments to my work, by doing this, it meant that I
could continue my work to a high standard and to not worry about my overall work.
Feedback from peers/questionnaires
As my feedback was quite broad, this meant that I could portray my product in the best way
possible, the feedback from my peers was very understandable and almost all of the
feedback was very good, the questionnaires enabled me to ask questions that I wanted to
aim my feedback at, so that my work could be very good. Below, you can see an example for
the questionnaire that I have done in this particular assignment.

Questionnaire-statically Analysis.
I am going to do a statically analysis, talking about the feedback that I have
had from my peers, now that I have done 10 questions- I am going to do pie
charts to show this information, I will also do a conclusion to end the analysis,
all work that I have done is feedback/results from my peers, so I will ensure
that I view my product and make any changes necessary.
Q1- How was my Animation of Healthy foods good? Brilliant Ok Terrible
From my feedback, I have found out that 70% said that my product was Brilliant. With 30%
saying Ok and 0 people saying that It was Terrible. From my feedback, I am pleased with
my overall feedback, so I am going to talk to my client to see if there is anything that needed
changing regarding How was my TV Ident, so that she is pleased overall.

Q2- How was my animation? Clear and Presentable Boring - Amazing

From my feedback, I have found out that 80% said that my product was Clear and
Presentable, 0% said It was Boring and 20% said that It was Amazing. Once again, I am
pleased with the feedback and will contact my client for further details.

Clear/Presentable Boring Amazing

Q3- Does my product work well with my healthy eating campaign animation.
Yes- No
For this particular question, I have decided that due to 100% people saying that it was clear
and presentable, I am not going to produce a Chart, and however, I am pleased with the
feedback.

Conclusion In conclusion, from all the questions and so on, I believe that my work has
been harshly evaluated, as well as fair. I have covered all questions and have received 82%
of the feedback as positive feedback as well as excellent feedback. In addition to this the
17% said that my work required improvement and the negative minority of 1% said it was
awful, this feedback isnt welcomed but as this is a conclusion, I feel I will need to continue
to carry on with my work. The questions set out was clear and professional and most of my
work was good and in some parts very good, apart from the extremely small minority.

As you can see above, this questionnaire and the statistical evidence, enables me to read
feedback and then evaluate my work through this, overall my work can be seen statically. A
questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions and other prompts
for gathering information from respondents. Although they are often designed for statistical
analysis of the responses, this is not always the case. The Statistical Society of London
invented the questionnaire. Questionnaires have advantages over some other types of
surveys in that they are cheap, do not require as much effort from the questioner as verbal
or telephone surveys, and often have standardized answers that make it simple to compile
data. However, such standardized answers may frustrate users. Questionnaires are also
sharply limited by the fact that respondents must be able to read the questions and respond
to them. Thus, for some demographic groups conducting a survey by questionnaire may not
be concrete. Therefore, I feel that this is a good process of taking feedback and evidence,
which will guide me towards this in the overall work in a good way.

Legal and ethical considerations and codes of practice

Above is my legal and ethical considerations, as you can see on the images above. I have a
detailed legal and ethical, which includes copyright and some codes of practice. On this
assignment as it asked me to do the legal and ethical considerations, I was able to learn
quite a bit about this. You can see the evidence above of exactly what I have done for this
particular assignment. The one above is Unit 34, and the one below is Unit 62, as you can
see though, this has a similar part to Unit 34 but I have included web and TV as it is relevant
to this particular bit.

Opportunitys
Identify opportunities for self-development
The opportunitys for my self-development is to judge myself by evaluating myself, I am
going to show two examples for this particular bit.

As you can see above, this is my first evaluation for Unit 34, I have added a conclusion on
this particular assignment as I felt it was necessary on this occasion due to the huge range of
questions as well as aesthetic and technical qualities. I have added pictures in this too, in
addition to this, as I wanted to show the read some more information and picture evidence.
My next evaluation is Unit 62, this one is a bit briefer compared to the one above as it
covers les ranges.
Compared to the other assignment, this one was more theory based as it was a video unit, this
enabled me to complete my work to a higher standard. As you can see above, this evaluation was
more about time management and the approiprateness of the software.

Skills
New skills (Employer expectations review)
For my employer expectations, I needed to cover these particular headings Maths, English,
and I.C.T, commutations, punctual; and legal and ethical. All these headings are things that
you would need to be employed, so they are all relevant and give us the basic knowledge
towards the skills that we will need. I have also added a conclusion on the employer
expectations, as I felt that this was necessary.
