THE CHRISTMAS GIFT

This is Christmas season my friends, Christmas is the day on which Jesus the son of god was born as human
being, he was born to virgin Mary ,her husband was Joseph a carpenter, Jesus is the best gift god as given to
mankind, Jesus came to this world to die on the cross for our sake ,he offered his life as a sacrifice for our sins,
he shed his blood for our souls to reach god, at the time of his crucifixion his precipitation turned to blood, he
was crowned with crown of thorns, he was scourged on his back for 39 times, he carried his cross to mount
Calvary, where he was crucified with both his legs and hands nailed to cross, he was offered vinegar to drink
,his dress was removed and he was mocked, humiliated, rejected by his own people ,beaten, but do you know
what he said, Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing ,Jesus forgave us all, he finally said,
father i commit my spirit into your hands, he died, a soldier tested his death, by piercing his rib with a spear
,last drop of blood and water too came out of him ,he died on the cross only once but he rouse from death on the
3rd day ,yes he did everything for our forgiveness ,its us who must repent from our sins and accept Christ as
our savior

one of my friends told that Christmas is a season of sharing, yes its the season of sharing hope, love,
kindness, happiness, truth

Christmas is literally the birthday of Jesus, in our birthdays we receive gifts from our friends, family, relatives
,neighbors ,but do you know what were the gifts Jesus received when he was born, bible tells ,there were
shepherds, scholars ,scientists, present at that day and it says the magi(scientists, scholars)gave gold,
frankincense, myrrh, but there is a story which is not in the bible many say its a fiction, a little drummer boy in
parade who came with those magi to see Jesus had no gifts to present before him, so he played his drum to him
and was rejoiced to know that baby Jesus loved his song and smiled at him.

When I first heard this song my heart was overwhelmed with joy and i asked myself what is my gift to Jesus?
when Jesus gave his own life for me, what is that i can offer him?

If I would give money or precious jewels, he would not require it because it is his own, entire he owns them all

If I would give him burnt offerings like calf, goat or ram, they are all his creations, he have them all

So I said: Jesus came to this world, because he loves me, so he needs me.

I can only give my life to him which is so precious for him, because he gave his life for mine
