Kubota alloy KHR12C is an austenitic Fe-Cr-Ni-Nb casting alloy developed from the well known HH type II grade. This alloy is superior to
other grades in components that are subjected to frequent thermal cycling and shock. The alloy is available in both centrifugal and static cast-
ings.
Weldability:
The alloy can be welded by the shielded metal arc welding Table 3 Creep-Rupture Strength
(SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc Temperature Rupture stress, average Rupture stress, minimum
welding (GMAW) processes. Welding procedures are available c op Time, h MPa (ksi) MPa (ksi)
