Incident = Event that had an impact or effect on a person, property or environment.
Nearmiss = Unplanned event that had the potential to be an incident. A close call.
What is Hazards & Risk?

Hazard = Unsafe conditions that might expose a person, property or environment
Risk = Unsafe condition, action or a hazard that exposed a person, property or
environment but did not cause yet incident/accident or a nearmiss.
