1. Complete the Online Pre-Orientation

The Online Pre-Orientation program explores academic resources to help with classes, services
to support your physical and mental health, and tips on how to fully engage with campus life. To
begin, click on the Golden Eagle Orientation Online icon, located in your student portal in the
left-hand navigation menu. GEO Online should be completed before you come to campus for in-
person Orientation.

2. Register for Early Start (if applicable)

Do you need Early Start? Log-in to your MyCalStateLA portal to access the GET Self Service
page, and use the Early Start link in the Admissions Section of the Student Center to see if you
are required to participate. For more information, please visit

3. Pay Tuition and Fees Prior to Your Orientation Date

Please pay your tuition and fees prior to your Orientation date. To help determine how much you
will need to pay, please use the Tuition and Fees Payment Calculator by logging on to your GET
student account under Campus Finance. Login to your GET account to view, accept or decline
your Financial Aid awards. If your aid does not fully cover the tuition and fees, payment must
be made for the difference prior to Orientation. Payment can be made only by cash or check at
the Cashiers' Office, ADM 128, from 8:00 am 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and from
8:00 am 5:00 pm on Friday. Or access the Cashiers Office online at
https://commerce.cashnet.com/csulapay (service fee applies).

4. Submit Final Transcripts and All Test Scores by July 15, 2017

5. Complete the Freshman Survey

We need your input and we want to learn more about you! The Freshman Survey provides the
campus with important information that allows us to better understand our students and make
program changes to better suit their needs. Your experience, opinions and expectations are
important to us! You must complete this survey before you attend your Orientation session.
Before beginning the survey, make sure you have your student CIN (ID number) available.
