valves, Control Valves, Other Valves, Pipes, Pipe Fittings, Crane , RTR Pipes & Fitting RTRP (GRE
& GRV Pipe/Fitting, and Welding & Painting inspections.

Inspection & Test plan (ITP) as per Saudi Aramco standard inspection requirements.
Perform Hold, Witness & Surveillance inspection & tests per approved ITP at
manufacturing facilities to ensure the compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements and
project specification.
Inspect material or equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with standard
requirements and proper handling, storage & protection at Saudi Aramco facilities or
construction site.
Monitor contractors Quality system, record & Quality Personnel for compliance with
requirements.
Review & evaluate Contractors Quality Document submittals
Visual, dimensional inspection, material traceability check and witnessing of material (Plates,
pipes, flanges, tubes, valves, Fittings and structural items) as per approved drawings, final
performance test, pneumatic test, hydro test at manufacturer facility as per client standard.
Prepare inspection report of inspected items
Perform welding inspection including review of approved welding documents (WPS, PQR,
WQTR, Weld Map), drawing approvals, material test certificates as per bill of material,
applicable ASTM/ASME standards, visual marking and traceability, weld joint fit up inspection,
visual welding inspection, dimensional inspection per drawing applicable tolerance sheets.
Review the entire Material Test Certificate and Documents as per Quality Plan, P.O. &
Specification and given Dispatch Clearance for finished Product.
Witness of hydro test of Valves performed at Vendor shop.
Responsible for verifying calibration records for testing and inspection equipments.
Co-ordinate with the sub-contractor for quality control issues.

Painting inspection including approved procedure review, weather conditions for blasting and
painting, substrate profile, surface preparation, primer application, intermediate painting and
final painting inspection required for Piping, & Valves.
Non Conformance Report (NCR) or Warning sheet if needed.

against Client specification/ requirements.
Preparing list of item as per SAER 1972 required to be inspected and assigning the level of

To identify products and materials and specifically in the case of alloy steels through Positive
Material identification per the applicable drawings and specifications.
To check the traceability on equipment, materials, parts and components, as required by the
standards and specifications by using tags, stamps, color coding, stencils or labels.
To check whether pipes are stored properly on sleepers or mounds.
To check whether pipes are stored in shipping crates or on racks.
Review subcontractor Quality Control Inspection Procedure (QCUP), Welding Procedure
Specification (WPS), Welding Procedure Qualification Record (WPQR) and Welding
Performance Qualification Test (WPQT).
Inspection of welding works during fabrication and erection as per welding procedure
specification.
Check welders identification if theyre qualified for the welding procedure that it is using.
Check welders has necessary protective clothing, all welding machine, tool and equipment are
in good working order. Also check all welding consumables are correctly condition and stored.
Check/verify subcontractor daily inspection reports if the appropriate qualified welders are
employed and that her production weld is correct and identified.
Check/verify if all inspection record submitted by subcontractor is accurate, complete and up
to date.
Witnessed hydro testing, water flushing and air blowing.
Conduct and prepare post test punch list.
Aiding customer and owner representative for final inspection and acceptance.
Responsible for all welding activities such as joint preparation, joint fit-up, root pass, hot pass,
capping and documentation of weld & welders as per Standards.
Review of drawings.
Preparing Quality Control Plan.
Inspection of Raw Materials (base metal, welding consumables) and various inspection tools
correlated with test certificate.

Magnetic Particle Inspection using Electromagnetic Yoke Prods with both visible & fluorescent
techniques, Liquid Penetrant examination using Solvent Removable & Water Washable methods.
Radiographic Examination & Visual Inspection of welds and structural components. Ability to
interpret & evaluate the above test results with applicable codes, standards & specifications.
Performs Ultrasonic Testing for various types of materials such as High Carbon Steel, and various
alloys.
Assigned to NDT Lab for performing various types of NDE methods as per ASME, AWS, and ASTM
codes for all types of materials.
Review of radiographic test films before and after post weld heat treatment as per acceptance
criteria, ASME Code.
Can inspect all types of pressure vessels and boilers.
Can work on Magnetic Particle Yoke using AC/ DC & HWDC both visible & fluorescent methods.
Ability to interpret & evaluate the above test results with applicable codes, standards &
specifications.
Follow up the work until the handover stage with all QC documents signed.
Co-ordinate with the sub-contractor for quality control issues.
