Impression:

This week was such a great week with Ken, he had just woken up from a nap and was in a really good mood. We finally made a break through
with his verbal language and labeling. Ken talked more than he ever has in an intervention session. We did the intervention downstairs in the
living room without all the other kids around. This seemed to help Ken focus, and having the bigger room gave us more opportunities to work on
Ken goals. Ken seemed really interested in the items we brought this week. He responded well to the playdough and didnt seem to have any
sensory issues with it.

Objective Description of Data and Observations:

During our intervention session Ken looked at pictures and labeled mom and dad as he pointed to them. He also pointed to different colors of
playdough and tried to say their color. He got blue correct and almost said orange. He copied Bethany when she said the sounds of each letter in
the color pink, but he didnt combine them all together. When I showed Ken the three different containers he tried to take them, I told him what
do you say and he signed and verbalized please. When opening the playdough Ken signed help because he couldnt do it on his own. Ken
looked up at us when we said his name but he would only hold eye contact for a short time. There was a dog in the room and Ken pointed at it and
said woof woof. He also made the rawr noise when playing with the dinosaurs. He refused to say quack when playing with the duck.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Ken had his best week this week, he vocalized more than ever. He labeled blue, fish, and dog. He came close to saying orange and truck but left
out a single sound from each word. When using the pink playdough Bethany tried to get Ken to say pink but it was really hard for him, so instead
he said the letter sounds for each letter in pink. Ken did so much better this week compared to last week and previous weeks. Kens signs are
becoming more and more spontaneous and he almost always uses a sign with a verbal prompt. His eye contact what much better this week as well.
He looked at us more than usual but it was still too short of a time. He is continuing to grow and progress towards his goals each week.

Plan: This was our last week with Ken but mom said she would continue to use some of the strategies we used in our interventions.
