Description of the
project Barclays Card Migration It is a migration project from where
Barclays Credit Card business is migrated from the Prime to Vision
Plus. This project involves support for CIT/SIT/UAT batches in
Vision Plus Environment. It includes running batches for Germany,
Portugal, Italy, Spain, Botswana, Merrick, EMKU(Egypt, Mauritius,
Kenya, UAE) countries for Barclays .Vision Plus system deals in
 Credit Card processing. It handles functionalities of issuing Card and
processing of payments related to it. The projects deals in giving the
Customer /Merchants proper payment details and accepting
appropriate payment from them after offering suitable discounts over
the payments made and the type of payment made. It designs various
programs on yearly basis to benefit their potential customer and for
growth of their business.

Roles and Responsibility

Development Technical Specification, Coding and Unit testing, Solving

CIT/SIT/UAT of various tools which saves manual work and time.

Parameter setup. Worked in Region Building activities for new

environments

Client meeting and Requirement Gathering.

We provide temporary & permanent fixes to various errors in batches

and resume it to normal ASAP. Apart from this, we do region build
& refresh activities. Also, we govern the movement of code across
different environments in Endevor for Vision plus.

Ensuring that all the statement related files have been received within
the SLA (Service level agreement) time in return adhering to the
timely start of the statement processing.

Ensuring that the files have been processed correctly and have been
sent to the print centers within the SLA time and in case of any
violation finding the reason for the same with a valid explanation.

In case of any abends, receiving the ticket from command centre and
acknowledging for the same.

Providing a perfect resolution and resolving it within the SLA time in

case any job abends, ensuring that SLA is not missed.

Providing a permanent resolution in case a batch abends in order to

ensure smooth processing of the files.

Resolving any user queries on statements within the SLA time.

Attending onshore calls during Analysis phase of project and

 understanding the project testing needs

Preparing Test Strategy, Test plan and Test approach documents as an

individual contributor to few projects.

Leading and directing team in preparing SIT deliverables such as Test

scenarios, Test case, Test data , Test scripts, job preparations.

Review of SIT/UAT deliverables, resolving Technical difficulties of

team.

Owing the responsibility of SIT/UAT phase execution, review of

SIT/UAT validation results.

Defect management i.e Defect tracking-follow-up-retest completion

within assigned Test phase timelines.

Weekly status reporting to stakeholders and higher management and

Daily status Reporting to onshore on SIT/UAT progress.

SIT/UAT signoff report preparation, SIT/UAT sign-off initiation till

completion.

Automation of manual repetitive tasks, regression testing , test

data setup and validation activities.

Updating of the development code by incorporating changes in the

placement of business request and ensuring that it is being executed
as per the business requirement.

Recovering the statements which have not been processed correctly.

Ensures that the UAT batches are run correctly.
