The UC Botanical Garden presents

Join teachers, school volunteers and youth educators for the


University of California Botanical Garden’s annual one-day
conference in a roundtable of activities to experience new curricula
and learn horticultural and management techniques to take full
advantage of one of the most engaging places of learning.

furthering your school garden.
❀ Learn about new sources of funding from California state initiatives and
organizations that can support school garden efforts.

❧ A School Garden Resource Guide, activity packets, take-home materials that link
the garden to math, literature, nutrition and science, information on local
programs, and certificate of participation.

Conference will be held Saturday, March 15, Saturday, March 15, 2008

and sign-in will open at 8:30 am. Space is
limited; pre-registration and acceptance is
required before the event.
