FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Two Spectacular Artists, One Great Location!

WASAGAMING, Manitoba (June 16, 2016) Wasagaming Community Arts would like to invite you to our Second
Exhibition Opening taking place on Friday, June 24, 7 - 9 pm. We will be revealing two new shows by Artists
Nicole Shimonek and Earl Graham. Each Artist has their own Gallery Space for the three-week exhibition.

Nicole Shimonek is a visual artist living in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Although her artwork is primarily sculpture,
her practice includes drawing, painting, performances, video and film. She uses odd juxtapositions of tangible
materials, mediums and themes to depict ironies of life experience. The set-up of Nicoles exhibition will be
intriguing and inventive; just like her works.

On the other end of the spectrum, Earl Graham, from Dauphin, Manitoba, is a contemporary and realist artist
who shares his passion for life and art with his colourful canvases. Earl experiments with his palette;
intensifying the mood and subject in his work in order to challenge viewers to look closer at colours seen versus
what is perceived.

Having these two artists shows running simultaneously creates an interesting contrast and is bound to stir up
conversation.

The exhibition will run from June 24 - July 12, 2016.
