TRANSITION TO ORACLE SOLARIS 10 IMPLEMENTATION BOOT

CAMP

This course provides partners critical information on what key features, functions and capabilities changed in Solaris 10.
The course assumes prior Solaris System Administration certification (Solaris 8 or Solaris 9), and focuses on a review of
what has changed from earlier versions of Solaris including installation and upgrading of Solaris, Solaris administration
and configuration, changing Solaris 10 kernel tunables, and new file system and virtualization capabilities. The
knowledge gained from this course can be used by partners to prepare them for achieving Oracle Certified Professional,
Oracle Solaris 10 System Administrator certification.

What will we cover:

The Transition to Oracle Solaris 10 Implementation Boot camp will focus on the knowledge and skills needed to be fully equipped to install
and administer the Solaris 10 operating system environment.

Learn To:
Install and update Oracle Solaris 10
Configure Oracle Solaris 10 system components
Change Solaris 10 kernel tunable parameters
Manage file systems and virtualization

Duration:
This boot camp is designed as a 3-day in-person or live web training class format. The timing for delivery will vary
based on what format the instructor choses.
