Lesson idea implementation:

The teacher will introduce the project to students on PowerPoint to begin count to answer, how many.
Prior to the PowerPoint, the teacher will count with students on the anchor chart. Then, the PowerPoint
Number, NumbersHow Many will be introduced. Students will be encouraged to read along and
participate with the PowerPoint.
After viewing the video, students will be split into groups where they have a basket of different objects
and determine how many for the object and record that amount. Students then will come up to the anchor
and write how many their group had for that specific object. If students are having some difficulties, the
PowerPoint will be printed out as handouts for students to use a resource.
Once finished, students can get into pairs and create their own PowerPoint of Number, NumbersHow
Many. They will be choosing how far they want to go up to and what object they will use for each number.
Then the teacher will print off students finale project, laminate it and have it as a math center for students
who need some help.
