Changing the verb


Present: Verb + -S for HE/SHE/IT
Past:
Regular verbs: Verb + - ed
Many special verbs for the past tense!
To eat = ate
To go = went
To see
To read

To be + (Verb)-ing
Present: Am/Are/Is + (verb)-ing
Past: Was/Were + (verb)-ing

Making Sentences and Questions
Complete Sentence = Subject + Verb
Questions:
1) Question words first! Or to be or to do
2) Who/what is the subject and what verb
3) *PAST or *PRESENT?
4) Change the first verb only

To be: Am/Is/Are_____? (Present )// Was/Were ______?
