SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION

8m x 12m
Standard Pool with Kiddie Pool
AMERICAN STANDARD
Hayward Motor

STEP 1: Mark-out the Overall Pool Size (8m x 12m)

Refer to your original plot plan and make sure you match the permitted
location. This spot was carefully chosen, considering setbacks, utility locations,
easements and other physical right of ways, and also safety, drainage and
access factors.

STEP 2: Mark-out the Pool Floor Shape.

The first markings we made were for the Overall Pool Size, and that is the first
phase of excavation of an inground pool, is to dig the overall pool width and
length.

STEP 3. Excavation Mark-out

Mark the shallow and deep areas to excavate the pool, making sure to leave a
level lip for the setting of exterior forms.

STEP 4: Excavate Shallow End of the Pool

STEP 5: Excavate Deep End of the Pool

STEP 6: CHB Installation

The setting of the all-concrete pool starts with the chb in the perimeter of
the pool. All the chb are set starting at the step (when applicable).

STEP 7: Squaring & Leveling

Each pool can be squared using the Swim-crete pool prints. The pool then
should be leveled using a laser or transit. The highest point of the pool is
established. Start at the opposite end of the pool, use shims to level toward the high point until the pool
is level.

STEP 8: Steel Rebar Placement

After the exterior concrete forms are squared and leveled, steel should be
placed in a grid following local codes. Rebar works 10mm and 12mm steel
bars space at 8 inches (0.20m) both ways.

STEP 9: Installing Pool Fence (Chicken Wire/Steel)

Install pool fence around the perimeter of the pool.

STEP 10: Installing Plumbing Pipes

A. Installation of Pool Drain

B. Installation of Reinforced Thermoplastic Fittings
C. Installation of Vacuum Fittings

STEP 11: Concreting of Pool steps, wall, and flooring

Spray gunite onto the steel rebar grid using a power sprayer, creating the
actual pool basin.

STEP 12: Plastering of Walls and floor toppings

STEP 13: Installation of underwater LED lights

STEP 14: Concreting of Coping

Coping is the term used to identify the stone or concrete material used to
cap the pool shell wall.

STEP 15: Installation of Tiles for pool wall and flooring

STEP 16: Apply Grout Around the Pool

STEP 17: Installation of Stainless Steel Grab Rails

STEP 18: Installation of Motor Pump

STEP 19: Installation of Water Filter (D.E. Filter Tank 20-60)

STEP 20: Test Run of Pump Filter and Fittings

STEP 21: Initial Treatment of Swimming Pool
