3. Valid passport & a Copy (first pages & last pages) of the passport for the entire period of
stay in France.
4. Acceptance / admission letter from the French Academic Institution. (If applying for
student exchange programme / study tour/ internship, a No Objection Letter will
be required from your current institution in India and a letter from the partner institution in
France stating that the student is part of such a programme).
5. Proof of accommodation in France for the period of stay OR a sponsorship letter for
accommodation from the city where you are going for studies
6. For short and long duration stay in France the student must take a 3-month
comprehensive overseas medical policy and repatriation policy" please check the
website of the VFS for the same
8. Proof of resources for tuition fees and 615 - 650 Euros/month for living expenses for the
period of stay (1 year) for housing, food, medical expenses, transport etc. Only liquid assets
will be considered. Sponsorship letter must be on plain paper duly signed along with
supporting financial documents.
OR
a. Supporting documents showing availability of a minimum of 615 - 650 Euros per
month for living expenses.
OR
b. Scholarship certificate (if applicable)
9. 3-month Bank statements (of the individual sponsoring the education and the students
bank statements (if he/she has an account in his/her name)
10.An undertaking by the individual stating that he/she will be funding the students education
(in the form of an affidavit)
13.The entire set of above documents in original & 1 set of copies (including mark
sheets & degrees/diplomas and certificates (Grade 12/BA/BSc/BE/MA,MSc till date)
Note: There is a separate VISA Fee to be paid and VISA Application to be filled
at the time of Consul Interview (appointment taken via VFS). For details and to
