TRAM (Tools for Radio Access Management) is a toolbox for design, test and
optimization of WCDMA Radio Access Network. The TRAM toolbox consists of four
tools.
1) WCDMAplanner is a UNIX based tool used for radio network design of the
WCDMA RAN. Traffic simulation is done together with pathloss predictions for
RBS cells. The tool can import information as input from existing 2G network
tools.
4) TEMS Investigation for WCDMA is a drive test tool for initial tuning and
trouble shooting of the WCDMA RAN. General Availability is planned to July
2001.
