INSTRUCTOR'S PROFILE
Mr. Henry is actively involved in the development of technology for the API Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology.
He is co-author of the re-write of API 581, Risked-Based Inspection Technology and is currently master editor of API
581. He is responsible for the development and implementation of Risk-Based Inspection programs. Mr. Henry has
developed methodologies within API 581 for consequence analysis, pressure relief devices, and heat exchanger
bundles. Mr. Henry is a certified instructor for the API 580/581 course on Risk-Based Inspection.
Mr. Henry is responsible for engineering consulting services in the areas of Pressure Relief, Heat Transfer, and Fluid
Flow. He is a specialist in the design, installation, sizing, and selection of pressure relief devices and relieving
systems, and is currently Chairman of the API Pressure Relieving System Subcommittees Task Force on STD 520
related to the design and installation of pressure relieving systems. He conducts audits of pressure relieving
systems to ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM legislation, and ASME, API, and DIERs Standards, Codes and
Publications. He also teaches the official API Pressure Relieving Systems course.
Mr. Henry provides technical support and engineering consulting to all levels of refinery capital projects. He has been
responsible for the preparation of purchase specifications, bid tabulations, design reviews, and the development and
validation of approved vendors lists. He conducts project safety reviews for construction and pre-startup phases of
major capital projects. His responsibilities include developing and maintaining engineering specifications in the
pressure relief and heat transfer areas, and providing overall coordination. Mr. Henry has significant experience with
the design and analysis of in-service fixed equipment. He has been responsible for rerating vessels to the ASME
Code and NBIC, and has applied Fitness-For-Service assessments in accordance with API RP 579. He has provided
problem solving support during numerous refinery shutdowns

Registration
Any registration, whether on-line or fax will be on a first-come-first-served basis and will only
be confirmed upon receipt of full payment by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)
unless otherwise invoice to company.
All registrations must be submitted with duly completed registration form.
Email registrations will not be accepted.
Confirmation of Registration
Confirmation of registration will be given 7 days prior to the commencement date via email. If
you do not receive the said confirmation email, you are required to contact IESA general
admin immediately at 6463 9211 (office).
IESA reserves the right to allow only confirmed and paid registrants to attend the Event.
Withdrawals/Refunds of Fees
Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to IESA. Policy on refund of course fee is as
follows:
FULL refund if we receive your written notice of withdrawal before 15 August 2015
50% refund if we receive your written notice before 15 September 2015
NO refund otherwise.
Replacement is allowed but restricted to once only. Replacement will be allowed only if
written notice is received by us at least 7 days before the commencement of the event.
However, when an IES member is replaced by a non-member, the participant has to pay the
difference in the relevant fees at least 3 days before the commencement date.
Cancellation/Postponement
Changes in Venue, Dates, Time and Speakers for the Events can occur due to unforeseen
circumstances. IES reserves the full rights to cancel or postpone the Event under such
circumstances without prior reasons. Every effort, however, will be made to inform the
participants or contact person of any cancellation or postponement.
